Well..I had a dang good birthday weekend. :)
Miss came home, went to park city with the family, ran errands with the girls, got new tires, a little bit of shopping, and ended with spaghetti sunday at grandma's! So I just heard on the news, for the past FIVE years October 26th(my big day) has been the first "freeze" in salt lake/davis county. Love that cold weather ha-ha. I got a pair of SOREL BOOTS and a NORTHFACE winter coat, I am ready for the snow to hit hard!
My life is changing so much every single day, at the end of the day I lay in bed and wonder what the next day will bring. Time is flying, so much is changing, and I am learning so much about myself. I think Missy will get her mission call this Wednesday, I am not sure how to feel about it. Of course I am happy and extremely proud of her, but it is going to be very hard. So much can happen in a year and 1/2. What if I were to meet my husband? My girl won't be by my side. In spirit she will. Never did I think growing up would come with so many challenges. Although, the happy times and blessings definitely out weigh the hard times! I finally feel like I know what I want in life, I feel like I am getting somewhere with school. These feelings of success get me through each day.
I've had a unique experience
these past 8 or 9 months getting to know someone important to me on a very
different level. He has become an extremely good friend to me and I just get
overwhelmed with excitement thinking about the day we meet. He is someone that
makes me want to be the best I can be. Keep those letters coming :)
Today at church I was asked the question "Well why are you down here?"...not going to lie, it rubbed me the wrong way. A few people have commented on how I go home every weekend. To be honest, I love Logan! My family just happens to be more important to me and I enjoy being at home on the weekends. I go home a lot...it is because I choose to :) I am the definition of HOME BODY. ha-ha-ha!
Halloween has officially become my LEAST FAVORITE holiday. I will enjoy it again once I have little children of my own to dress up and take trick or treating. The teenage/adult costumes have become ridiculous. I don't know if I am the only one..but going to a big dance party and seeing people I go to class or church with half dressed...could be quite awkward. ha-ha! What happened to dressing as a big M&M? Oh well.
Well here are a few pictures of this weekend :)
