My 19th CHRISTmas Season!

What a year!! Some big changes, hard times, new experiences, great memories, and huge accomplishments made! The major things that stick out to me would be joining the Statesman crew at Utah State, and being in Logan with awesome girls. I miss old memories and old friends, but the people in my life right now are on the same page as me and make me a better person! It is unreal how much can change! When I go back to school in January I will have a new roommate because Amy got married! Anxious to meet her. This year I was blessed enough to be able to drive a new car to and from school. I love my jeep! The phone contracts were up last month and we all switched over to the IPhones. So honestly, Stevee and I couldn't ask for anything else! Santa brought us cute quilts that we can cherish for the rest of our lives, along with other girly necessities!
Grandma && Grandpa came over Christmas morning for breakfast!

Me and the little one!
Took Stevee out for lunch before her game! These two girls are weirdos!
This old fart sleeps during sacrament.
LOVE me some Kelli time!
The night we made that awesome music video! hahaha! Miss them lots.

Christmas Eve shopping with dad! He got himself some nice dress shoes and slacks! Fashion Place Mall knows what is UP!
My baby girl Stitchy!
Might be the cutest picture of Max ever! When he isnt barking up his lungs, he is this precious. I PROMISE!:)
Christmas Eve jenga got a little bit intense...

And then dad spilled his milk! hahahahahaha!
Santa #1 zonked out!
Santa #2 long gone with his son!

Warming up our frost bitten toes after nighttime sledding!
The lovely G's eating some Christmas breakfast!
How precious!!
He is usually daddy's boy...mom is an exception! hahaha!
Being dorks!
Someone else likes my blanket! This is the quilt I mentioned, it is so SOFT!
Merry Christmas father :)
Scripture that jumped out at me at church on Sunday. Love it!

The first && best thing that happened to me..

I honestly have the most amazing family ever. I read a quote that went something like "You become like the 5 people you spend the most time with, choose wisely." Well these four are my four best friends and the fifth would probably be a combination of my dogs haha! Seriously though, they are my everything. They have stuck by my side for 19 years now, and love me more and more every day. The tragic shooting that happened this past week has opened my eyes so much, you never know when your day will come, let alone one of your family members. Sure my dad bugs me when he eats, or tickles me in the car. Or when my mom texts/calls me non stop, or tells me I need to clean up my room which Stevee destroyed. Or when Stevee uses my perfume or won't hurry up in the shower. Those things are SO MINIMAL. Thinking about those innocent kids, and their families. I could not do it. I would do anything to save my sisters life, and if I wasn't there to protect her I would never be able to live another day. My parents are such great examples to us girls and they exemplify everything Stevee and I want in our futures. It's funny how I can be brutal with my sister, but the second someone else says something about her I will go to all ends of the earth to put them in their place, I got myself into some high school drama this year because I couldn't handle immature kids hurting her. haha! I have learned to let her fight her own battles, it is NOT easy though! A few days ago I went to work with my dad, he wasn't feeling too hot and its funny how my "mother instincts" (that I don't have) kicked in haha! I just wanted to do anything I could to make him feel better! I would do anything for my family and it is so comforting knowing with every fiber in my body that they would DO THE SAME!

Wrappin' it up!

My media smarts girls :)
Little Kofu is growing up into a handsome cat!
My wall of fame:) hahaha
The Crepery.

Well, top photograph I dedicate to my mom. She loves when I don't get ready for school haha! Just kidding, I got ready today and I actually did feel good about myself and it was a successful day. Well, so far. I still have to study for my Media Smarts final, I MUST get a good grade on it or I will have to re-take the class :( and it was a pain in the BUTT class. On the bright side I met those two lovely girls in media smarts, and spent five thousand hours with them. haha :) The picture of me and the cat, yes mom... I ACTUALLY GOT READY :) (that was today). Layni, Renske and I went to this place called The Crepery for lunch today, our "goodbye lunch"...although I prefer to call it a "see you later lunch!" The food was magnificent! Until I got some kind of mild food poisoning from it :(. Not so fun. The experience was a fun one though!
Things accomplished today:
-Woke up early enough to get ready and feel good about myself.
-Did well on my Theatre final!
-Got some Christmas stuff done for important people.
-Spent some quality time with my great roommates!
-Did all my laundry && cleaned my room for when I return in 2013 :)
-Now attacking the Media Smarts study guide!

I AM SO EXCITED TO BE DRIVING HOME TOMORROW SINGING CHRISTMAS MUSIC TO MYSELF AND KNOWING I AM HOME FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR! :)

Don't know what to name this post!

My dad took my car for a drive and ended up picking up some winter car mats along the way. Total surprise. Not so sure I have ever been a big fan of Tinker-bell, but this right here has made me a huge fan! I love my dad!

Gotta love finals week right? haha! Thursday can't come && go quick enough!

My darling girl Tara on the day of her dance. I did her hair and it turned out well! Love this girl!

First plan was to just do one french twist up the back, somehow we ended up doing two with a cornrow on the side of her head. She is a beauty.

Wake up in the morning, head to the bathroom..walk back into my room to see this man on my bed. If only I wasn't allergic. He pounces...A LOT. haha.

Ok so I got bored last night, what did I do? Made a paper chain. There is Elise throwing up her "i love you sign" and showing off the chain. She is pretty cool.

I AM ATTEMPTING TO DO A FEW PINTEREST D.I.Y CRAFTS TONIGHT & TOMORROW. IF THEY TURN OUT, I WILL POST THEM :) Peace, Love, and Happiness!

Here's whats up!

OH MY GOSH. So this would be my girl Renske. The book you see, is Schindler's List. Our final group project we did in our Media Smarts class was critiquing the media on significant movies that cover major events in history. We chose Schindlers List and WOW I learned so much, but I am BEYOND happy our project is done along with the presentation! Here is the address to our blog we created: http://schindlerslisteight.wordpress.com/
She is heading out of Utah next Friday :( Thanks to Media Smarts I have gotten to know this girl. I have learned a lot from her and she has taught me more than she probably knows. She has conquered learning English thoroughly within 16 weeks. (She knew some before) But she is so determined to do the BEST she possibly can on each task she is given! Crazy that we are from opposite sides of the world but we go through similar things and can talk about everything. I love her!

Me and Rand having a cute moment :) I love her more than life itself. Along with my DAD and sister! I honestly thank Heavenly Father every day for sending me to this family, I am beyond blessed. Something very hard happened this week, Johnny my hamster passed. He has had an eye infection for a few months and it has gotten the best of him. I went home last night with Jord and I took Johnny with me. I was debating whether or not to take him to the vet a few days ago, but it would be a big amount of money for something that seemed to already have a big effect on the little guy. My sweet mom comforted Johnny this morning (I left him at home because I couldn't stand hearing him gasp for air during the nights anymore). He passed this morning. My mom says he was in peace! I have a great mom.

My main squeeze. This kid has changed my life in the matter of....two weeks. We knew each other in high school, but lets get real...what is high school? haha! He just got home from Oregon, served a mission. He has taught me a lot through actions and words. He makes me happy! I haven't gone more than 5 minutes without laughing at this punk. He understands me!

This is our small white board we bought at Lowe's. Oh man that is definitely a night I will remember. I have some pretty great roommates! Usually Addi writes a joke on the board in the mornings. No better way to start my day haha! I love them.

Headin' back to Layton. He comes to visit me in Logan. Crazy where time has gone and how much we have both changed!

Hello neon flowers! The orange ones are the best. He is pretty awesome!

Hanging out at Ross! Excited for our pretend "Christmas Eve and Christmas" this weekend. My 8-D girls rock. We are wearing similar outfits in the photo above, not planned. haha!

Little Kofu keeping me company. I think me and him will get closer now that Johnny is gone, I will be able to keep my bedroom door open. The cat wanted to eat my little guy so bad. Too bad this cat makes my eyes red and my body itchy.

Spontaneous date night with my parents. GO WEBER! They dominated UVU. :) Jord and my dad crack me up. I am a happy girl.

Caught a ride to Layton last night with Jord, and my great dad brought me back to school in the morning. Like I mentioned earlier, I am so lucky. Took my dad into the building the newspapers are found, and we read my article. #5! He has supported me through everything in my lifetime. I don't think I will ever be able to re-pay him. LOVE YOU DAD!!

Me and Renske messin' around in class. Man I am going to miss this girl. Aren't we cute? haha! I actually interviewed her for my last article, wanna read it? Ok perfect, here it is: http://www.usustatesman.com/international-students-find-ways-to-celebrate-the-holidays-1.2801241#.UMFQYo5c_dk
Rest in peace Johnny baby. I love you forever!
