Easter!

IphixD in Logan is THEE place to get your phone fixed if you shatter it.

1. Don't EVER assume parked cars won't leave the parking lot.
2. Pay attention when you set your phone down somewhere.
3. Realize that long boarding brings hard times.. haha. Maybe just to me.
4. Run your butt off to find the phone.. determination leads to success. (I found it in the middle of the road)
5. Don't get mad..just laugh. Makes it not seem as bad.
6. GET IT FIXED AT IPHIXD good as new.

We know how to have a good time...

When you trust Elise to do your makeup..

Easter weekend was full of laughs and memories!!..
1. Endured a late night movie on Friday, The Host with the roomies. Maybe its because I didn't read the book, but it was a stupid movie. I also slept through half of it.
2. Went on a hike Saturday morning with Carson then went to the Festival of Colors in Spanish Fork with Stevee her friends and Carson..interesting event but it was a good time. (Notice the green and purple STAINED in our hair in the photo below)
3. Slept over at Addi's Saturday night and had breakfast at 11 p.m....YUM! Wyatt will be impressed with Addi's egg-making-skills. ;) hahaha! Really though.
4. The easter bunny did a great job this year! Went to church, then to brunch. Dad had to leave after sacrament to head out to Colorado... so Carson filled in for him at brunch. This place we ate at was a HOOT...it was unbelievable. The food seemed as if it was prepared 5 days earlier then microwaved. We laughed so hard.
5. Took a good Sunday nap before heading back up to Logan.
6. I have a special guest staying with me this week...NALA SUE! (dad added the sue, it stuck.) Mom and Stevee are headed to St. George in the morning, dad is in Colorado. I'm so excited about this.

This week..
1. Find a tutor for Stats. Test Friday that I NEED to do well on.
2. Kel's birthday is on Tuesday! :) Going to watch her ball it up @ Weber.
3. Study Stats some more..
4. Work on my next article. Professor profile on Dan Howard, it will run in the paper next week.
5. Pass the Stats test!!!
6. Head home for the Saturday afternoon session of General Conference with my girls!! :) CAN'T WAIT!

Never a dull moment..

Its been an absolutely crazy couple weeks!

LIFE IS NUTS. I don't think I have had this many mixed emotions combined together before. I'm okay with it though, it has kept life exciting and given me a reality check of how blessed I am!

Missy leaving was pretty dang rough, but looking at it in a longterm perspective I am just blessed to have such a good example and friend in my life. I am so proud of her for choosing to serve a mission and I can't wait till the day she comes home. (It's been a day) hahaha! Stevee came over to say bye to her, and she just bawled. It broke my heart, but at the same time made me so happy inside that Stevee has been able to grow up with another older sister. Miss is just amazing!

School work is doing OKAY, Stats 1040 is stressing me out so bad. My other classes are going pretty well. Thinking about summer school is awful, but it isn't enough to make me change my mind. I'm trying so hard to think long-term with big decisions and unfortunately, summer school outweighs moving home to Layton this summer. Work is going well, feeling more and more comfortable selling shoes each time I work.

The social life rocks. My roommates are still the best thing that has happened to me in awhile haha! Addi might be the most persuasive person I have ever met, which is good and bad at times. For example, "Stac just don't go to class, we will have fun here." or "Ehh you don't need to go to work, stay and play!!" hahaha she kills me. Every time us three drive together with Addi as the driver, we almost crash. NOT KIDDING. Elise bought herself a longboard a few weeks ago and I told her next time I got paid I wanted to get one. Sooooo...I did.

Hung out with Carson again this past week, it was a good time! I am happy. I got pulled over heading home a few nights ago. It was the day Missy left, my emotions were all over the place. I tried to cry but I couldn't hahaha! I think I ran out of tears ;). Long story short, it was midnight and he told me I was going 15 over. I thought I missed my chance to cry and try to get out of it...well after waiting a solid ten minutes watching cars pass me and stare, the obnoxious lights in my mirror..he came back "Well Stacey my printer is having issues and doesn't want me to print you a ticket for some reason..drive safe and remember the speed limit is 30." I died. I just smiled hahahaha! Oh and somehow I had tears again, I drove off crying happy tears! Life is good!

hap. hap. HAPPY!

Chelsea and Abby are easily the cutest, coolest, most down-to-earth girls I know. Hanging out with them last weekend brought so many laughs and memories! They introduced me to the game "iPod Idol"...how I never knew this game existed earlier, I DON'T KNOW! Funniest game EVER. Next time  I am home better believe I am making my family play.

Going to church with the Hadfield's this past Sunday was great, one of the general authorities was there! Also, Miss is a primary teacher and so I was privileged to be a primary teacher for a day with her! Kid's ways of doing things, handling problems, and their overall innocence is adorable. I can NOT wait for the day I have kids, but it CAN'T be anytime soon haha! Funny story, one of the little boys was throwing a fit and Miss picked him up...less than 2 seconds later she got nailed in the face with a four-year-olds fist. I was trying so hard not to laugh! Great friend I know. Her farewell is THIS sunday! Nuts! Mixed emotions for sure, but I am so proud of her and beyond excited. SHE WILL HAVE THE BEST ACCENT EVERRRRR IN TWO YEARS! By the way, the picture you are about to set eyes on, might be the most hideous picture ever. Love it.
Had such a great time with Carson on Saturday, checked out the outdoor expo show in SLC, then hit up Olive Garden. He is such a stud. Speaking of Carson, he came up here last night to hang out..we fed the duckies, grubbed, and he helped me study. I think I did well on my U.S. Institutions test! Thanks Cars!

Didn't take any pictures..
will post some SOON!

My roommate told me the other day, "Stac you're the one that is going to be the crazy cat lady," I am starting to worry. I love her!!! (NALA) hahaha! This is how homework is attempted at home in Layton, impossible to focus with her and two doggies!

My week was made at about 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19! Work on Monday night was a success, working alone in the shoe department isn't too bad...UNTIL you have pallets of shoes to put away. I wasn't aware that I was doing such a good job until I received a pretty neat text the following morning! BAM! WEEK HAS BEEN MADE...

So now that I just made myself sounds WAY COOL, I have to bring it back down to reality...last week after I left work I headed to Wal-mart to grab a few things before heading home..I was by the milk sending a text to my mom when a cute lady tapped me on the shoulder, "Miss can you help me reach this milk," I was thrown off-guard because people rarely talk to strangers these days. I felt so happy inside that I looked like an approachable person! Well, it was all good until I realized I HAD MY AL'S NAME TAG ON THEE ENTIRE TIME! She wasn't a little old lady that thought I was a sweet young girl, she thought I was a Wal-mart worker. Dangit! haha!

I FEEL SO BRAVE!
WHY?
Well for my Media Smarts class we have a group project due tomorrow on Gun Control and the way political cartoons relay their messages. Well, I was in the shower a few weeks ago and had a brilliant idea (shower is the best place to think by the way)...Pat Benatar's song "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" could be tweaked into something for the blog! So I tried to make up lyrics and sing. Had to put it into the chipmunk voice or else I would fail our project haha! On a side note, my professor is the DEPARTMENT HEAD OF JOURNALISM at Utah State hahahahaha! Yes, he will watch this gem and hopefully remember the weird blond he taught.

On the agenda for this week:
  • Dad is coming up to Logan tonight to teach the Al's shoe department about new product (yes he will be teaching me haha! so cool) It is a daddy-daughter date night!
  • Work everyday for the rest of the week then I will head home on Saturday afternoon to spend the night with my missionary! Her farewell is Sunday like I mentioned before!
  • My article runs in the paper tomorrow! I will post the link next time :)

keep smiling :)

Better late than never :)

Jeez I don't even know where to start guys!
..VEGAS..
..Dad getting honored at WSU..
..Papa Rollie coming into town..
..Mesquite with the girls..
..Spring Break..
..Exciting work news..

Synopsis of Vegas: Stayed in one hotel room with MaryKate (Stevee's teammate and her mom with us three girls.) Honestly, one of the best weekends I have had in a long, long time besides the fact I wanted to tell the coach what I though about her. haha. Rebecca (MaryKate's mom) is such a hoot! There was never a dull moment. Between, sleeping in the same room, trying to hook me up with boys, getting extremely upset watching the girls coach, and just chillin' in Vegas we became pretty tight! She got me a date for this upcoming weekend, I am pretty excited! Thanks Rebecca :)
My babe.
Please notice the cat in my arms. Love that little turd. About to venture off to Sin City!
This would be the bed my mom, Stevee, and I slept in! Good thing we are all cuddle monsters. Yep, Steve is just takin' her pre game nap on me. Cute cute cute!
Wildcats 15 Power Team!
My shopping buddies! H&M was amazing.....just wait for this next photo....
Weber State, Weber State, GREAT-GREAT-GREAT! Well shoot, you could say I have been waiting for a day like this for my whole childhood. You wouldn't believe how many random people have told me and my sister "you girls have no idea how amazing of a player your dad was," or "your dad was probably the best player I have ever watched play!" Well Weber State had a great idea of honoring the top 50 players of all-time, low and behold my dad was one of them! :) Mom and I had to fly home from Vegas Saturday afternoon, make it to Weber State by 7 to see him get honored at halftime.. then fly back out Sunday morning early. We were airport rats! As a sidenote, I have a really strange obsession with airports and the energy they generate! I LOVE THEM! Weird I know. Well I sent out cute invites to family and close friends of my dad and everyone that could make it CAME! His dad drove out to watch him. It was such a neat night. My dad is a rockstar. I am sooooo stinkin' blessed I can't even begin to tell you!
It was hard leaving Stevee behind in VEGAS especially after she was upset about how the tournament was going. We love our baby:)
So she has some pretty dang good luck!! Not like Vegas was already costing an arm & a leg or anything haha! (IT WAS!) Well..... SHE WON!....
SOLITAIRE hahahahah! Gotcha!

Love my cousin Jazzy:) Waiting for dad to be honored! Like I said, so many people care about him! It was great.
How freakin' cute right? Gramps and Dad. My dad was so happy he came. Love these guys!
For some reason, my moms cousin(in the picture) and my dad have this unique bond. My dad loves her! Sure enough, they got the invitation in the mail...bailed out on dinner and came and supported this great guy! I know it made my dad SO HAPPY.
Dad and Julie again :)
I know, I know...the pictures just keep getting CUTER!! I don't know if you can tell or not...but baby Ricky's shirt says "My Uncle Rocks" my dad was on cloud 9! Bree and Jared are so sweet to make this night a priority....another unique bond with Jared & my dad! Family. Is. Everything.
Daddyyyyy!!!! This makes me smile SO BIG! The video is on my facebook page. Ignore my screaming! haha.
I felt dang awesome walking around the Dee Events Center with him not going to lie :) Daddy's girl.

He is pretty handsome! Funniest person I know.
This will be Stevee and I in 40 years. haha!
So Papa Rollie was supposed to show up at our house and surprise the crap out of my dad! Well somehow my dad figured out that he was coming, possibly because we were cleaning the house the day before. Sad I know haha! After the game on Saturday we went out to eat at Outback Steakhouse. Then when we returned from Vegas on Monday Stevee had to go to volleyball practice. Gramps taught me how to make the meanest bowl of Ramen EVER! Ill make it for you upon request ;) Really though, it is great.

On the way back from Vegas we stopped at the Mesquite Condo for a night :) Who would've thought eating at a diner, renting a few red box movies, and going to the hot tub could make me laugh so hard my stomach was sore the next day. Great memories made!

Spring Break has been pretty great so far, my roommates are in Vegas (we barely missed each other at the airport)...so it is just Xioli and I for the week. It is a foreign culture habit to not flush toilet paper down the toilet. Which I respect...but it has been about 3 months and I can't do it anymore. I am going to try and be brave to ask her to flush. Sounds stupid..but she is the sweetest girl and I don't want to overstep my bounds haha! Sorry if that is too much information. Have an article I am working on to run in the paper next week, and just working lots. Speaking about work....well today I was on my way to the gym and received a text from my boss "Stacey call me I have a question thank you." Better believe my heart dropped, starting thinking if I had done anything wrong..haha! Well after the phone call, I was a super happy girl! I am now the TOM'S shoe advocate for Al's Store in Logan! :) We will be bringing in TOM'S in the next couple months, and I will be the "top-dog" of the brand. SO HAPPY!!! Super big opportunity to start networking and grow as a salesperson!

Here is the project I was telling you about in my last post! Turned out pretty cute :)
